Vegetarian, vegan or omnivore who still wants their steak every now and then? Everyone has their own convictions, but during 'Veganuary', we all resolve to eat less meat.

So sink your teeth into these deliciously spicy celeriac steaks.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Cumin powder
  • Curry powder
  • Chilli powder
  • 1 celeriac

Preparation

  • Remove the outside of the celeriac. Cut the celeriac into slices. Make sure the slices are not too thick.
  • Mix the herbs with olive oil and pepper and salt. Rub the slices with this mixture on both edges.
  • Roast the slices for half an hour in an oven at 200 degrees. Use baking paper for this.

Voilà, a delicious 100% vegetable alternative to steaks!
